What Are You Willing To Put On The Line?

Author: Stan Lewis

As a Christian Life Coach and as a Christian man, I know that when you realize what you are willing to put on the line, everything else becomes easier to prioritize in your life. God put you so high on his list of priorities that he laid down the life of his own son for you and me. John 3:16-17 - 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. (NKJV)

So my friend, what are you willing to lie down? Below is a poem that expresses my highest priority in my life - God.

What are your priorities?

I LAY THEM DOWN By S. Bryant Lewis

SOMETIMES IN THE MOODS OF DEEP THOUGHT, I WONDER IN THE ASPIRATION OF THINGS PEOPLE GIVE THIER LIVES TO COMMITING THEIR SOULS WITH THOUGHTLESS FRIVOLITY

THEY ARE NOT AT PEACE WITH THEIR SACRIFICE. NO, THE PRICE OF IT CONSUMES THEM. ERODING THEIR MOST VALUED POSSESSIONS INTO HOPELESS NOTHINGNESS

YET IN ALL OF THIS, I HAVE FOUND REASON TO GIVE MY LIFE TO PAY THE PRICE OF A SOUL FINDING PEACE UNDREMPT OF

NO ONE, NOTHING, NO ENTITY OF THIS WORLD WILL I EVER ALLOW TO CONTROL MY LIFE, MY SOUL

FOR I LAY THEM DOWN FOR HE WHO IS NOT OF THIS WORLD, BUT IS ALWAYS WITH ME

I challenge you my friend to put your priorities in order. Furthermore I challenge you to set goals for your spiritual, personal and professional growth. If you are married, you need to not only set personal priorities and goals, but you also need to establish priorities and set goals that you want to accomplish as a couple. Firm priorities and goals will not only give you focus, but will also keep you from living a life of thoughtless frivolity which will leave you empty and heart broken. By knowing your priorities as a person or as a married couple, you know what is truly important. Nothing, no entity of this world will ever control your life or that of your family. No one will control your soul. You will know what you are willing to put on the line to find that peace in your life that is undreamt of by most people in the world.

If you need help getting your priorities and goals in order or you simply want prayer, please e-mail me at slewis@realcoach.org I would be honored to agree with you in prayer about your priorities and goals. Or if you need assistance with your priorities and goals, I will be happy to help you.
