Author: Kristy Annely

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese art, in which practitioners use meditations and deep breathing techniques to perform a series of exercises called "forms" resembling slow-moving ballet. Tai Chi can be learnt privately from a tai-chi expert or in a class. However, if someone is unable to find a suitable instructor or cannot attend regular classes, he or she can still learn the art through books and videos. As tai chi does not require any special kind of attire, therefore it can be practiced easily in the comfort of one's house.

Although, books provide invaluable information on the subject, however, videos give more in-depth knowledge about Tai Chi. Books might explain each step in detail, but a video on the topic show these steps in accurate motion and style. A practitioner can learn in a better manner from the video footage and watching video or films of renowned Tai Chi experts also help students to understand more about this ancient art.

The best way to learn Tai Chi is by combining instructions by a good teacher, books and videos. Many have been benefited by learning Tai Chi from videos and have gained significant health related improvements.
