Start Your Lawn Care Business

Author: Nick Destefano

Starting your own lawn care business can be a "cash cow" if done the right way. When you were younger, maybe you cut grass for the neighbors and some relatives for a small fee. It was probably a nice little side income for you with little work. The lawn care industry is huge! Every single person that owns a home needs to either cut their grass usually weekly or hire someone else to do it for them. Many people don't want to hassle with cutting their grass and some older people just aren't able to do this task. People would rather hire a professional service because they know they can count on it consistently and it will be done satisfactory compared to hiring the average neighbor looking to cut grass.

Here's Some Facts About The Lawn Care Business:
* There's great money in this business to be made.
* You choose your own hours to setup and work on your jobs which can be very flexible.
* Typically you only work half of the year and earn enough money as most full time jobs do.
* Finding people to work for you can be easy since lawn care is generally very easy to do

Starting your own lawn care business does come with challenges like any other business does such as managing employees or crew, accounting, purchasing decisions, legal issues, type of equipment to purchase, etc. There can be a lot of initial work that has to be done to make your lawn care business successful, but in the end, it will be a rewarding career opportunity for you.
