An elderly woman named Betty slowly gets out of her car and walks toward the entrance of a very large box store. As she exits her car, she notices several people with ".com" on their shirts blocking many of the customers from entering the store. Betty sees several of the customers attempt to run past these ".com" people but most of them are slowed to a crawl as they try to push past. The crowd outside the store grows larger and larger, as more and more of the customers try to make their way past these ".com" people. Somewhat frightened and extremely irritated, Betty would leave but there are a few items she has to have and she has seen these ".com" people before and knows they will be at other stores if she tries to shop elsewhere.

Gathering up her courage, Betty picks up her pace and tries to push through the crowd of people gathered at the store's entrance. She is only five feet from the door when she feels the familiar sensation of being marked in the arm. This time, it's an older man with a dark tan, gold chains around his neck, and a toupee covering the top of his shiny head. His ink is invisible on her arm but then again, "most of the ink nowadays is invisible," she thinks.

Once inside the store, she finally feels safe from all the ruthless and greedy people lurking outside but she feels betrayed. Betrayed by the vultures outside the store and betrayed by the store itself. She knows she shouldn't feel this way but it just doesn't seem right that people actually get paid for putting a mark on her when she enters a store, even though the mark is invisible. "Why can't they just lower my bill at the check out stand by 10% or 20%," she thinks to herself. "That would be fair, that would make me happy."

Betty finishes up her shopping and heads to the checkout stand. As she anticipated, the man that had marked her arm is standing by the cashier to collect his money. Her total comes to $415.97, including tax. The woman writes out the check and is shaking with anger; she knows the man is going to get a pretty good commission from her. The cashier thanks the woman and as expected pays the tanned man with the toupee a check for $65.00! The woman shakes her head in disbelief and leaves the store feeling very upset.

This is how things work in the online world. Sometime it's as simple as clicking on your favorite store on a popular website. Other times, the tactics employed are a little more sinister and occur when you are searching for a particular product or store in a major search engine, you click on the displayed link, thinking you are going to an actual store and then you have to click on another link to get there. There are also really annoying spam emails and the hated pop-ups that are used by many people in the industry. Whatever the tactic used commissions for referring members to sites when they make a purchase is here to stay. More than 95% of businesses on the internet today employ some kind of commission structure and this business is expected to continue to grow as more and more purchase are made online.

The answer is simple; www.SmashBay.com. Smashbay, LLC gives these commissions back to the people that deserve them the most; the buyers! Members of Smashbay receive 90% of their commissions back in a very attractive 4 tier system that encourages them to tell others about this unique and exciting site.
