Every so often in even the most scientific online think tanks which discuss planet colonization, nano technologies and climate change some one will come along and bring up the God thing and put it into a context of Good VS Evil. This happened recently when a think tank guest posted an article in which he stated:

Satan Causes Us to Do Wrong Things and This Has Angered God

He went on to say that God loves us and wants us to do well and Satan attempts to challenge that faith and he is the one doing those terrible things you here about people doing. Of course such a notion was immediately challenged by an agnostic debunker who stated:

Do you really believe in that; The devil made me do it! line of reasoning? Isnt that a little bit like the Twinkie Killer plea of temporary insanity? In all this you are saying that your god is going to leave the Earth because people have turned to Satan. God will not show himself, like Santa Clause, because why? It is a secret or he cannot. And if he cannot;, then why not and; where oh where has my little Dog (God) gone?

Apparently the debate grew and at the end of another post the fundamental religious fellow stated that when a person does bad, that it is really Satan trying to impose his agenda? Although I have to wonder about this myself and have to think that this entire notion is rather silly considering that there are 6.6 Billion humans on the planet and if so, then our religious follower must be one very special person for Satan to bother to waste his time playing him like a puppet on a string. Personally this good VS evil thing is way over blown. Indeed at the online think tank perhaps we get back to the original subject matter here; human modification in the future and a time when We decide to better the efforts of millions of years of evolution and become our own figurative god? Consider this in 2006.
