Unleash The Power Of Google AdWords And Get Instant Highly Targeted Traffic ? Part 3

In the first two parts of this article, we discussed the importance of Google AdWords and learned how to set up a campaign the right way to unleash a herd of targeted visitors to your website.

This takes us to the next topic, keyword selection and the many techniques that allow you to reach more prospects. For any given keyword or phrase, you can increase the chance of your ads being served by also selecting other variations, misspellings and derivatives. You also want to choose broad match where the ads are triggered by the keywords searched by other users in a more loosely defined fashion than phrase match, which calls for all searches including that phrase in the same order. A keyword set to exact match will however only appear when people search for that exact keyword or phrase. And remember to use negative keywords whenever you need to filter out unrelated pages.

The final step in creating your first ad group is to set your advertising budget for optimal exposure. While Google AdWords will recommend a daily budget for each campaign, you should really determine a budget that suits your strategy and you can obviously afford. That also goes for the maximum cost per click - Google will suggest a recommended cost per click, but again you have the final say. Contrary to popular belief, you should not necessarily aim for the number one position as it usually attracts unwanted traffic - untargeted and of lesser quality. Your goal is a number two or three position as it helps filter useless clicks and provide traffic with higher conversion rates.

In conclusion, using Google AdWords is a highly effective marketing strategy and a key component of your InterNetwork Marketing Success Toolbox. There is no faster way today to generate the all-critical, highly targeted traffic your online business needs to be successful.
