Ok well not shocked has many people know these secrets but I feel that it's not pointed out enough times. I see many people make the same mistake, they find create a website, submit it to google, and sit back waiting for the wave of people to start browsing there website... Think again! Google is thickle search engine and wants some loving before it treats you like a professional webmaster.

Your site is not even indexed when you hit the submit button, even after 4 weeks there is a slight chance that google will even put your site into there search engines. And even if it does get placed in there are many factors that you need to count.

#1 Is your site optimized enough for the keywords your using?

#2 Do you have enough BL (Backlinks) to your site to give your site a good PR rating?

These two things are a must! If you don't have this then your site will fail! Once you have this then your guaranteed a place in google and even a spot in the first few pages of your keywords. This means you will start getting free traffic to your site!

Getting a good PR rating is not easy, you will need to contact sites that is relevant to yours and ask if they want to exchange links. What does this all mean? Well in simple terms it means that you will have to place the URL of the site your asking onto your site and they will also do the same. Now it's very important that the site your asking is relevant to yours, why is this? Well clever google sends out little spiders (Also called robots) No joke these are real! These spiders search googles sites in the search engine and if it finds a site which is relevant to yours then it will give you a better PR rating and also place you higher in the rankings of your chosen keywords.

The more BL you have the higher your PR and higher your google ranking. Remember! If you start placing any old link on your site then you could possibly get punished by google. This wont harm you much but it aint doing you any good. Remember spiders are clever, dont try and fool them has they will not fall for it! Now you have google all sorted out, now what? Well don't stop now! Lets post some Articles! Yes there are many many free sites that will submit your articles to ezine news sites and article websites. Some even post to around thousands in one go but these normally charge your for there service. Doing this will boost your BL and also your PR rating, and if your article is even good enough to read then some people will post it on there sites with your link back to your website! This again gives your good BL/PR! WOOO.

Want more ideas? How about forums? What have forums got to do with boosting BL/PR? Well Google also scans forums too! It even scans and index posts. You must have seen some of your search results turn out into posts from forums? No well then your one of the unlucky few in the world... Anyway! Posting on forums and placing your website url into your signature will get picked up by google. Posting on high PR forums will get your site indexed into google in no time. And again try and stick to forums that is related to the subject of your site.

Comment sections in sites also get scanned by google too! If you see a site that allows you to comment on a blog or a product or even an article. No matter what it is if it a comment box then leave a comment and post your url inside it. Look at this! Free advertising! Though I must add! Some sites dont like you posting your url in a comment section, do it at your own risk has you could get your IP banned from the site you are posting on.

Remember, advertising and promoting your site does not have to mean you have to waste loads of cash on products like "Traffic Brokers" or "PPC" sites. Ohh a warning most traffic brokers I have used have always failed to generate a sale from my site. I would suggest passing on these has all they do to generate traffic for your site is turn your nice site and place it into a popup on some of there network sites. And you know what happens to popups dont we?
